FIRST SEASON A SUCCESSFUL ONE!

I had a great first season experiencing all kinds of weather with all kinds of people in some of the Rockies' most beautiful corners. Northern Banff National Park already lies under a few inches of snow and therefore I am working on making the 2010 season as memorable as possible. Mother Nature has been quite kind to us this year, providing mountain enthusiasts with plenty of sunshine. I recently had a great time exploring the Bow Lake and Skoki areas with clients on foot. The great wildflower show is coming to an end but the Rockies remain as stunning as ever. Summer has arrived to the mountains! Summits are shedding their snow blankets, the forest is coming alive again and soon the lakes will display their world-famous turquoise hues. In Banff, visitors are arriving by the thousands, keen on discovering what the mountains have to offer. In the beautiful northern part of the national park, summer is taking its time arriving but in a month or so, some of the best hiking country on the planet will start opening up... See you in the mountains!

Paul Zizka Photography and Hiking is proud to announce that its entire website is now fully available! Many, many hours have been poured into creating unique and fantastic trips for the 2009 summer season. In a nutshell, although I relish in taking visitors to world-famous locations, such as the Plain of Six Glaciers near Lake Louise or Consolation Lakes in the vicinity of Moraine Lake, I specialize in leading hikes to seldom-visited jewels of northern Banff National Park. Going off the beaten path allows you to have your own Lake Louise all to yourself! I have extensive knowledge of the area and I especially enjoy its pristine quality and remote feel. Let me take you to the most beautiful places in the Canadian Rockies in a safe and enjoyable manner.
